Two Days to Go: Presidents Day Ride

Two days out from our ride of the Olympic Peninsula, and it looks like about six of us going.  Here's an update on conditions:
I spoke earlier this week with the Olympic National Forest Pacific Ranger District Roads Manager about Donkey Creek/FS 22. He'd been up the road a week earlier and reported no snow at Lake Wynoochee (800'),
and the road is potholed with some loose gravel in spots.  The paved sections may have some debris on them, and a few branches may be down.  Sounds just fine for dual-sport bikes.
The weather sounds unsettled, clouds and showers, lows in the upper 30s and low 40s, highs in the mid to upper 40s.  Should be some SW wind Saturday, calmer Sunday and Monday. The National Weather Service Area Forecast discussion today says:
.SYNOPSIS...A WEAKENING FRONT IN THE COASTAL WATERS THIS MORNING
WILL MOVE THROUGH WESTERN WASHINGTON TODAY BRINGING AREAS OF LIGHT
RAIN...MAINLY BEFORE NOON. A STRONGER FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL BRING MORE
RAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT...WITH SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS. AN
UPPER TROUGH WILL PRODUCE COOL SHOWERY WEATHER ON SATURDAY...WHICH
WILL TAPER OFF SUNDAY. MORE WET WEATHER IS EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK.
Should be cool, showery, and fun.
